Eduroam in a Box

Eduroam is an Authentication and Authorization Infrastructure system for seamless user roaming in computer networks for research and education community. The system is composed of the tree-like hierarchy of Radius servers who use statically configured routing to redirect access requests from the roaming users to their home institution server.

The Eduroam in a Box package contains a managment server, scripts and configurations for an enterprise grade wireless network. The server synchronises the accounting records from DHCP and FreeRADIUS to MySQL and manages stale connections on access-points (via SNMP).

Dependencies

Eduroam in a Box depends on the following perl modules, which are not in the default CentOS repositories:

• perl-File-Tail >= 0.99.3
• perl-Net-SNMP >= 5.2.0
• perl-Socket6 >= 0.19
• perl-IO-Socket-INET6 >= 2.51
• perl-HTML-Template >= 2.7-3

You can find rpms for these packages in third party repositories such as rpmforge.

Known bugs and other open issues

• preverjanje inputa ob vnosu (gesla, email...)
• če nastaviš ip za dostop do vmesnika in ne gesla, se zakleneš iz vmesnika (potrebno je ročno urejanje .htaccess)
• izbolšaj opise input polj, povej če vnos v polje ni obvezen
• simpleSAMLphp - avtomatizacija pridobivanja metadate
• izboljšaj backup ldap imenika (mogoče dodaj restore iz backupa)
• dodaj podporo za ldap imenik z več vejami (npr: ou=studenti ou=zaposleni)

• najdi novo ime za projekt, da odraža tudi podporo za AAI IdP
